	   First Principles Calculations of Metallic Magnetism.

			  Naval Research Laboratory

	An overview of some spin density functional based electronic 
structure calculations of metallic materials will be given.  After a 
rather basic introduction two topics will be covered.  Some aspects of 
artificially built multi-layers and their interlayer exchange coupling 
will be discussed. Then a method to calculate non-collinear ordering 
of magnetic moments will be presented.
